Events are erupting quickly, decisions are arriving with profound consequences, and the emotional atmosphere of the country feels charged, unstable, and uncertain. In the horoscope commonly used for the United States, the symbol representing the people themselves, the Moon, sits in the sign of Aquarius, a placement connected with ideals of freedom, individual voice, and the ongoing experiment of building a society based on shared principles.
Since mid 2024, Uranus, the planet associated with sudden change, disruption, and out of that, awakening, has been forming a challenging alignment with the Moon in the U.S. chart. Such alignments often correspond with times when the public mood becomes electrically charged. Unexpected events, social shocks, and rapid developments stir the collective psyche, prompting people to question established narratives and to see circumstances with new eyes.
