This month, the Sun moves from Cancer into Leo, marking the radiant heart of summer. Cancer and Leo are the mother and father of the zodiac, the Moon and the Sun, the sacred marriage of yin and yang. Cancer is home and family, watery sensitivity, our vulnerable selves, and also that in us that takes a protective stand. Under the Cancer Sun, we might reflect on how to nourish ourselves and each other. Cancer is the sign of loyalty, and belonging to our tribe or family, patriotic as well. This month Saturn and Neptune conjunct in the 1st degree of Aries. The conjunction of Saturn and Neptune marks a new beginning. Not only because the conjunction starts a new 36 year cycle for Saturn and Neptune relationship, but also because the conjunction is in Aries, the sign of new beginnings, fresh starts and the impulse for birth.
The Saturn Neptune conjunction in Aries brings a potent tension between the need to structure and define (Saturn) what feels vast, uncertain, or dissolving (Neptune). This can seem overwhelming at times, or bring anxiety in regards to how to merge the reality of everyday with deep undefined feeling states. It challenges us to give new form to dreams, ideals, and collective movements, especially as we enter new territory. In Aries, this convergence calls for slowed, intentional action, urging us to reimagine how we begin things, not with force or haste, but with spiritual clarity and grounded vision. It asks us to give time and space for this reimagining. It’s a time to build new paradigms from what has been unsettled and disrupted, one clear, mindful step at a time.

Jupiter entered Cancer on June 9, the sign in which astrologers consider it to be exalted, meaning it functions with great strength and ease.
