Mar 18 – New Moon in Pisces, sextile Uranus – The New Moon at 28° Pisces marks a time of gathering inward and distilling the essence of a collective cycle that is coming to completion. This final degree of Pisces carries a sense of closure and invites reflection, surrender, an honoring of what has been lived, along with clearing and completing.

By evening the Moon enters Aries, and in the early morning hours it joins Saturn and Neptune, signaling the threshold between endings and beginnings of a much greater cycle, a process that will intensify as the Sun activates these same planets within days right after the Spring Equinox on March 20th.

The Pisces New Moon forms an exact sextile to Uranus, opening pathways for breakthrough and inviting us to lean toward new possibilities. The larger Aries vortex alignment — linking Uranus, Pluto, Saturn, and Neptune — is stirred into motion, bringing a sense of acceleration and testing what is now taking shape. Mar 20 – The Sun enters Aries, Spring Equinox, day equals night. On the Spring equinox the Sun rises due east – We begin a new round of development as spring unfolds.

Potent Spring Equinox

At the Spring equinox, the Sun enters Aries. As it enters Aries it actives the new 36 year cycle we are entering, the dissolving of the old and  re-imaging the future which will carry us into a new era. It’s time to ask ourselves, “What kind of world are we creating for ourselves and future generations?” This alignment illuminates the potency of this time, bringing a season of change.

What fresh insights are leading you forward? Mar 22 – The Sun conjuncts Neptune at 1 Aries – As the Sun conjuncts Neptune (which it does once a year) it highlights Neptune’s essence of feeling into the bigger spiritual reality in which we live. It can draw out compassion and imagination. We may yearn for unstructured time and space, for meditation, reverie, and creativity. We want to keep ourselves grounded as it’s influence can overwhelm or bring confusion. Not a good time to make big decisions.

Mar 25 – The Sun conjuncts Saturn at 4 Aries – Within days the undefined energy of Neptune is brought to a focus with the Sun conjuncting Saturn. This is a time to slow and consider the new beginnings we are creating. A good time for scheduling, planning, and structuring how we will proceed with the new beginnings we are wanting to put into place.

Mar 25 – The Sun at 5 Aries sextiles Pluto in Aquarius – a day for transforming, turning the soil over, clearing and releasing, letting go, making room for new energy to be empowered.

Mar 26 – Venus conjuncts Chiron at 25 Aries – Adventurous Venus brings healing of strife to relationships, and love to our wounded parts so we may experience self acceptance and freedom in being ourselves.

Mar 28 – Saturn at 5 Aries sextiles Pluto in Aquarius – what is being transformed has the opportunity for manifesting into a new form, system, structures.These two powerful archetypes of transformation and wisdom now work together.

Apr 1 – Full Moon in Libra – The full Moon in Libra takes place on April Fools day. The Aries nature (now with the Sun in Aries) is like the Fool of the Tarot, trusting instinct, on a journey, growing through trial and error. The Moon in Libra is like the Tarot card Karma, or Justice, highlighting that side of Libra which seeks balance and truthfulness, the law of right human relations. Being human, we grow as we balance these two energies in our lives.

Under the Libra full Moon we find enjoyment with others, with the people we care for. It carries a gentle thoughtful energy to the impulsive bold energy of Aries.
