A workshop hosted by Susan Heinz and the Center for Transformative Visions

A Friday evening seminar will provide a discussion of the attributes of color as well as strategies for creating contrast and unity in painting.

On Saturday, we’ll paint, putting theory into practice,

as we observe and respond to the model.

Friday Evening 6-8PM, and Saturday 10am – 4pm, January 18 & 19

Cost: $120 if you register by January 11, $130 after the 11th

$30 deposit required to register/total payment due by January 15,

Materials list will be provided upon registration. Enrollment is limited to 10.

Claire Thorson earned an MFA from San Jose State University. She teaches drawing, painting, figure drawing and figure painting at Cabrillo College and Monterey Peninsula College. Her work consists of large-scale drawings and paintings that explore the figure as a primary form. She has been nominated for the Eduardo Carrillo Prize and exhibits her work both locally and nationally.
