A Pisces North Node Lunar Eclipse

During a lunar eclipse the shadow of the earth falls across the Moon. The eclipse time marks a period in which the familiar light of consciousness is temporarily softened, allowing deeper layers of the psyche to become more accessible. During a lunar eclipse we often discover that what has been quietly developing beneath the surface is now asking to be felt, acknowledged, and integrated. Dreams may become more vivid, intuition more immediate, emotions more fluid, and seemingly unrelated experiences may begin to reveal an underlying pattern of meaning.

Because the eclipse occurs on the North Node, the symbolism is one of emergence, rather then release when next to the south node. Something not yet fully integrated seeks expression. With the lunar Eclipse taking place in the water sign Pisces our sensitivity is peaked and boundaries between ourselves are porous. It reminds us that we are not separate but living within the Piscean sea of rhythm and feeling. Pisces reminds us that there exists a deeper current carrying all of us.

During this eclipse we may become more aware of our interconnectedness, not only with other people, but with nature, imagination, memory, grief, creativity, and the larger mystery from which life continually emerges. We may notice heightened intuition and perception through waves of feeling. Old grief may surface unexpectedly. Moments of profound compassion may arise. Creative inspiration may arrive without effort. Long-standing dreams may ask for renewed attention.

Lunar Eclipse Moon Squaring Uranus in Gemini – 4 Pisces, 5 Gemini

Uranus in Gemini speeds up, disrupts and opens up new avenues in the ways we think. It revolutionizes communication, language, networks, education, artificial intelligence, media, and the movement of information.

This square highlights the polarity between emotions and thinking. Uranus is of the sky and broadness, while the shadowed Moon of the eclipse is about depth, body, and feeling. When these two planets are activating your chart, you may be propelled by an insight to break through an old way of being. This square could correlate with information overload, sudden unexpected change, propaganda, and increasing nervous-system reactivity. It might reveal sudden inspiration or deeper issues that need attending to. At its highest expression, Uranus becomes the awakener. In this case, Uranus breaks conceptual boundaries that are carried in our bodies, memories and emotions, so that consciousness can perceive larger patterns in an expanding field of awareness.

Aug 31 – Jupiter at 13 Leo trines Saturn in Aries – This is an important and significant outer planet transit in the 20 year Jupiter Saturn cycle. An excellent time to expand and focus on expressing oneself in new ways. Growing in solid durable ways. Grounding and/or completing creative work.

Venus – reflecting on the complete retrograde cycle – pre, during, and post

Aug 31 – Venus enters 22 Libra – and initiates the pre-retrograde cycle. On Oct 2nd Venus goes retrograde at 8 Scorpio, going direct at 22 Libra on Nov 13. As Venus enters 22 Libra on August 31st, she activates the energetic field within relationship that is to be reviewed, perhaps the beginning of realignment and or the process of healing issues. The review deepens when Venus goes retrograde in Scorpio on Oct 2nd, going direct on Nov 13. And finally completing the full review when Venus passes 8 Scorpio on Dec 15, hopefully experiencing the integration of what has developed.

Sep 10 – Venus enters Scorpio – Venus leaves balanced Libra and plunges into deeper feelings of Scorpio, intimate encounters become more passionate, emotional. Perceptions increase in relationship.

This is an excellent time to set an intention or begin a project, to analyze a situation. With the sextile aspect to Mars in Cancer, there is support to act and to begin.

At this time Mercury enters Libra and forms a grand air trine with Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini, initiating new ways of seeing things, quick moving change and upheaval, a time for visionaries to speak. Mercury highlights the Aries Vortex activating communications about the future and what can be. Discussions around what we are creating for the future, in the world, our country and our personal lives. Mercury’s opposition to Neptune brings imagination and/or illusion, forming a kite with the grand trine. A time to break through deception.

Sep 15 – Neptune retrograde at 3 Aries sextiles Pluto at 3 Aquarius – During August and September Neptune sextiles Pluto, the first time this generational aspect is exact. Last time these planets formed an exact sextile was in 1980s.

The Neptune Pluto sextile

The Neptune–Pluto sextile is a generational aspect describing periods when the collective imagination and spiritual ideals of Neptune can work creatively with Pluto’s drive toward profound transformation. With Neptune in Aries sextiling Pluto in Aquarius, there is an unusual opportunity for a new vision of human possibility to move from the imaginal realm toward actual social forms: Neptune in Aries dissolves inherited identities and ideals while awakening new myths, spiritual impulses, and ways of imagining who we might become; Pluto in Aquarius exposes and transforms the deep structures of collective life; power, technology, networks, community, and our understanding of what it means to participate in society.

The sextile is an aspect that speaks of opportunity; it creates a fertile field in which visionary imagination and deep systemic change can cooperate. We can see this aspect as a background evolutionary current within the Aries Vortex, asking, What new vision of humanity is trying to become embodied through the transformation of our collective structures? With Aquarius and the imaginative Neptune also involved, this aspect and timing feels especially significant in relation to AI, new forms of community, and the changing nature of relational consciousness.

Neptune and Pluto have been traveling in a broad sextile relationship since 1941-42 where they will remain until 2035, because their orbital speeds kept them roughly 60° apart for decades. Neptune at 4°20′ Aries made its first exact sextile to Pluto at 4°20′ Aquarius on July 25, 2026. It becomes exact again on September 15, 2026, at 3°16′ of Aries/Aquarius, and the repeated exact contacts continue through 2032.

What’s unique right now about this prolonged sextile is that Neptune is now in Aries sextiling Pluto now in Aquarius, dreaming up new beginnings along with technological and community transformation. And because Uranus in Gemini simultaneously trines Pluto and sextiles Neptune, this Neptune, Pluto relationship becomes one side of the larger configuration of the Aries Vortex, making this particular Neptune, Pluto sextile considerably more dynamic and potentially catalytic.

This is a dynamic Fall Equinox, with the Sun entering Libra and activating the Aries Vortex. The Sun trines Pluto and Uranus as it opposes Neptune. A quickening is taking place, a struggle between disruption leading to break down, or visions of a new society and structure of government to lead into the future. This is the chart that leads us into the November election. The instability and uncertainty of change sets the stage for breakthrough.

Sep 25 – The Sun activates the Aries Vortex, opposing Neptune and trining Pluto – a day for imagining transformation in your life.

Sep 26 – Full Moon at 3 Aries, 8:49 AM – Under the full Aries Moon we might feel more energetic, ready to move forward on a task, or project. This fire full Moon activates passions and action. The Aries energy can be conflictual, combatant, sparking impulsive actions, or fresh starts, as well as bravery, confidence in moving ahead, or pioneering efforts into new beginnings.

This Aries full Moon aligns with Neptune, highlighting imagining new beginnings, dissolving the old for the new, challenging illusions and spin, or caught in them. The full Moon and Libra Sun activate the Aries Vortex as written about above under the dynamic Fall Equinox.

This alignment offers both the collective and the personal a time for healing sensitive feelings, and realigning that which is out of balance in the masculine, or our extroverted, doing part of self.

Mercury squares the Mars Pluto opposition, negotiating and expressing the intensity of deeper conflict and issues that seek transformation.
