This has been a gorgeous Aquarius full Moon with Jupiter shining near by. As we have moved into the fixed signs Leo and Aquarius, this is a time for consolidating, deepening in our hearts and in our breath. Typically it is a time of playfulness and gathering with friends
The upcoming lunar eclipse on the 4th, takes place at 13 Capricorn and Cancer. We can imagine the issues of Cancer; belonging, inclusivity, deep feeling, are experienced in juxtaposition with issues of Capricorn; authority, tradition, governing structures, and power.
A reminder to you that I will be giving a talk on the astrology of these times and specifically for July on Zoom, July 3rd, 9:30 am to 11:15. It’s so helpful to remember that the astrology of now, with the Saturn Pluto conjunction and the Jupiter Pluto conjunction in Capricorn, describe the profound process we are going through, a deeper revealing of the systems which have structured our society and democracy in order that transformation of those systems can now take place.
Astrology gives us that larger view and helps us understand the meaning and purpose of the times in which we live. It is good to remember then, that we are collectively in an initiatory process, going through a profound right of passage.
From April 25th through May 14th we engage with a powerful period of reversal and review. It is sometimes described as a time when, ‘something has to give’. We now stand on an edge of sheltering in place and moving out into the world.
Each new Moon is a calling, giving us an opportunity to attune to the cosmic/earth rhythm. And just as the Moon aligns with the Sun to seed a new cycle, we reset our intention,
We feel the shaking of our foundations, for shaking they are. As Jupiter and Pluto conjunct in April intensifying and expanding the situation we are in. We continue to persevere in our endeavors
When Saturn conjuncts Pluto, we engage with a time of deep soul calling, of life and death, fear and courage.Something that had been invisible demands attention, asks us to move into more deliberate considerations. It scrambles all known ways of living as we are impacted by the collective need to reestablish our relationships with each other and our Earth. It marks the time for recalibration and re-centering, for listening and coming to awareness in new ways.
Mars in Capricorn is in stark contrast to Mercury in Pisces. Mars in Capricorn has drive and focus to accomplish goals. It is disciplined and determined. It can carry us towards where we want to go.
